Review: Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

People of the internet!
It is 11pm and I just finished this book. I am a freaking mess! Holy moly, this book I can barely keep myself from just banging my head onto my keyboard and calling it a fitting review (because it would be).
Basically it follows Simon Snow "The Chosen One" and his friends during their last year at Watford School of Magicks and also his "sworn enemy" Baz who is completely evil (yeah who you kidding Snow?) and also happens to be a vampire.

(please ignore the coffee stains on the book, it was early and I was tired and it just happened ok)

I know what you are thinking, I know.
"I've heard this before!"
"It's Harry Potter!"
And I will admit people, for the first 100 pages I was like "Jesus this is Harry Potter fanfiction" as well but you need to KEEP READING! I swear, once you have read the first half of the book you won't even think of comparing this to Harry Potter anymore because it really is different.
This book is written beautifully (also the characters curse, YES) and the word "snogging" is used multiple times which is one of my favorite words so YASSSSSSS!
This book has got romance and friendship and action and fantasy in it it's just literally a masterpiece!
If you haven't read this I highly, highly recommend you pick this up this instant (I'm serious people, give it a try).

-Now moving onto the spoilery section so mind the spoilers below the cut-

People, where do I start?
Is anyone just completely in love with Baz? I enjoyed the chapters narrated by Baz the most, he is just aaaaamazing!

I know a lot of people are saying, they found it hard to get through the first book and I can kind of see their point but I still really enjoyed even the first 80 pages.

I was constantly waiting for Simon and Baz to just rip the clothes from each other and just be together I was literally on the edge of my seat and then they FINALLY kissed and I was like, yes I can die in peace now!

I was also, for some reason, really scared of them not ending up together I don't know but thank the god they did.

The only thing I found really really weird was this tail and wings thingy? Anyway what were your thoughts of Carry On? Let me know in the comments!
