Review: City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

Hello lovelies!
I know it's been quite a while since I have posted on here but finals are seriously being crazy right now. My christmas break starts on Friday so expect way more posts after this.

Today, I want to talk about City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare, the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series. Firstly, let me tell you that I have ADORED the Mortal Instruments series so far. I know for some people it was quite hard to get to the first two books but I flew through them and I read City of Glass in two sittings max.
So after reading Clockwork Angel I instantly picked City of Fallen Angels up but I just can't say I loved it as much as the previous books.

Ok, people are going to kill me for this but I don't like Simon as much as everyonelse does. I just don't really care?! (SORRY). I think this is why it took me about three weeks to get through this book.
Secondly, I did not like the plot much? I just ... I don't know I didn't really like what happened to Jace I thought it was quite far fetched to be honest.

Overall I give this book 3/5 stars, I really hope I will enjoy the last two books in the Mortal Instruments series more.

-SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT-

Okaaaaay let's do this.

Favorite Character?
I think I would have to say Magnus. I just ADORE him and I absolutely love his realtionship with Alec it's just SO refreshing to see a really really really old warlock in love with an eighteen year old shadowhunter.

Least Favorite Character?
Jocelyn probably. Since she has basically been in a coma for like the first three books she never really grew on me but she has rarely been in this book either so it's okay.

Favorite Relationship?
I just can't say anything but Clary and Jace even though Simon and Isabelle are close behind them.
I just LOVE the way Cassandra Clare wrote Clary and Jace's realtionship. Their scenes are so intense I usually have to read them standing up, walking around (NOT KIDDING), I just CANNOTTTTTTTTTT

Favorite Villain?
Camille, Camille, Camille, Camille, Camille. Do I have to explain this? I'm imagining Katherine Pierce when I read about her and fdnsjdsvvfdbdsakfdsvdsvsd.
